What Is Buc-ee’s
As we’ve mentioned above Buc-ee’s is an American convenience store chain that’s highly popular in the country. It holds the record for the biggest convenience store in the world, with its store located in New Braunfels, Texas reaching 66,335 square feet.

1. Auburn, Alabama
The first new location of Buc-ee’s is in Auburn, Alabama. This is actually the fourth Buc-ee’s store in the state. As the location is really close to Auburn University, Buc-ee’s will become their new hangout place as it will be open 24 hours straight.
Other than the everyday items, the famous product they’re planning to sell is Beaver Nuggets Corn Puffs, a unique Buc-ee’s specialty. It’s cheap, tasty, and can be your best pal when hanging out with friends, watching movies at home, etc.
2. Sevierville, Tennessee
The next store is in Tennesse, in Sevierville, especially. The store has opened since this Summer, and provides 74,000 square feet of space for the customers. This is actually a strategic place as it’s really close to Dollywood. So either before or after visiting the amusement park, you can stroll around Buc-ee’s quickly to get some snacks or drinks for the day.
Aside from the store, there are also gas stations. There are 120 gas stations here, which is pretty neat.
3. Smiths Grove, Kentucky
About four and a half hours drive from Tennessee, we’ll eventually reach Kentucky. There’s a new Buc-ee’s store in Smiths Grove, with 54,000 square feet of space, just fitting for selling its famous products, from the Texas barbeque to any other things.
This is not their only store in Kentucky. Back in 2022, Buc-ee’s opened its first branch in the state, specifically in Richmond. The fueling stations, along with the store, are placed on 54,000 square feet of area.
4. Boerne, Texas
Back home, Buc-ee’s opened a new store branch in Boerne, Texas, near San Antonio. In the store, you’ll find various Buc-ee’s specialties, including the famous barbecue. Using 53,000 square feet of area, the branch store is more than ready to provide the best products and services for every customer.
5. Johnstown, Colorado
Next stop is Colorado. As you may know, people go to Colorado for their famous natural attractions, like the Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks Park, and the Rocky Mountains. It’s such a fantastic place that so many tourists want to visit.
Seeing this opportunity, Buc-ee’s has a plan to open a new branch in Johnstown, The plan is due in late 2023, and they picked a really nice location for it, which is on Interstate 25. For those who don’t know, it’s in the middle between Denver and Fort Collins, which is basically a sweet spot to gather tourists.
6. Harrison County, Mississippi
Finally, Buc-ee’s has a plan to spread its wings to Mississipi. They picked Harrison County to be the first location for the Mississippi branch. The reason is probably due to the fact that it’s pretty crowded with tourists, thanks to the entertainment, amusement parks, and other attractions.
The expansion of Buc-ee’s is also the result of The Mississippi Department of Transportation’s decision to improve the Interstate 10 exit, which offers a bigger opportunity for construction in the area.
7. Springfield, Missouri
Another place we want to mention is Missouri. Buc-ee’s is also planning to open a new store branch in Springfield, which is the hometown of many popular individuals, including Brad Pitt, Kathleen Turner, and popular game show host, Bob Barker.
It will be the first in Missouri, and hopefully not the last. They are planning to use 53,000 square feet of area for the construction of the store and gas stations.
8. Hillsboro, Texas
Another branch will open in Texas, this time, it’s in Hillsboro. Now, people don’t always have to rely on the Lone Star State to get those nice Beaver nuggets. It will have plenty of space as it’ll be using 74,000 square feet of area, complete with 120 fueling stations, of course.
9. Anderson, South Carolina
The last location on the list is South Carolina. Buc-ee’s is planning a new expansion to Anderson, The plan, however, will be conducted in 2025, which can’t be so far now. This is a nice addition to the first Buc-ee’s branch, which is in Florence.
